On Thursday night, one of our professors invited my "howdy group" over to his house for banana splits and a time of hanging out. The DeKlavons are known on campus for always having students over and ministering to them. Not being able to have their own children, they pour themselves into Boyce College students. Every student who comes through their doors has their picture made and they hang them on their basement walls and pray for them. Their entire basement is converted into a "play room" for us college students. They have a ping-pong table, fuse ball table, pool table, three guitars, keyboard, tv, karaoke machine, etc... but above all, they are so welcoming and loving to everyone who comes over. Going to their house is truly something that all students LOVE to do! :-) The DeKlavons are well loved!

How fun!! What a sweet couple...and that looks like an awesome basement...great place to hang out :) So you are definitely doing better than me when it comes to updating! Tonight is my last of three in a row, then 2 days off before another 3 in a row, so maybe I'll get some time to post! Love you and miss you!! And did I mention that I CANNOT wait for OCTOBER!!!! :D
