Yesterday morning Kyle and I went to the New Members Breakfast for Ninth and O Baptist Church. We were very blessed by the warm hospitality and AMAZING food that they provided. One senior couple in the church opens their home and cooks for all the new families and singles who join church. Many of the leaders from the church attend as well in order to help and meet the new guests.
On the menu were personalized omelets, homemade biscuits and gravy, cheese grits, eggs, bacon, sausage, homemade pancakes with berry compote (hand picked blueberries and strawberries from Hubers Farm), and cinnamon apples. Everything was superb!!! We enjoyed our time immensely!
For all of you crafty people out there, I was intrigued by this one table centerpiece that our hostess had. It's a roll of toilet paper with tissue paper around it, covered by orange fabric, with a rolled up brown paper bag in the hole. Isn't that creative? I thought it was so cute!
