Bluegrass Christian Adoption Services

Last night Kyle and I drove a little over an hour to Lexington, Kentucky to attend an adoption fundraiser dinner with some friends of ours. A couple from our church, Jim and Robin, adopted a precious little girl named Ella about a year ago. She was a stateside adoption through Bluegrass.
Since Kyle and I are desiring to adopt a few years down the road, they invited us and several other couples from our church to join them for this event.

It was a wonderful evening! We got to hear from several families who have adopted and also from a birth-mother and birth-father who gave their babies up for adoption and were saved in the process. It was so neat to hear what adoption is like from their point of view and the encouragement that they gave to all of us who have a desire to adopt a baby.

Everything to Me

The fundraiser was at the Fasig-Tipton Horse Farm in Lexington and it was beautiful! Here are a few random shots from the night:
