Psalm 127:3-5

It's A GIRL!!!


On July 6th, at 20 weeks, we went to our midwife and got our ultrasound on our baby. We were thrilled to find out that it is a GIRL! I totally thought that it might be a boy, however, Kyle was pretty set for most of the pregnancy that it was a girl. He was right! Daddy instinct! :-) The midwife said she is perfect and healthy. Praise the Lord!

Ever since that day we have not stopped thinking "pink"! Haha... it's so hard to walk into a store and not walk out with something pink in our hand. It's definitely teaching us discipline! (Although we don't always make it out empty handed.)

The morning after our ultrasound I flew to Texas to visit my family for a week. It was a wonderful visit and we all throughly enjoyed talking about the baby. Some friends of mine who I grew up with threw me a shower for our baby and then some friends from my church threw us a shower. We are so grateful for their encouragement and support of our baby girl! It is so much fun rejoicing in a new life! The Lord has been so very gracious!

We are now over halfway through our pregnancy and are continuing to pray for our little one. We have been talking a lot about names and are pretty sure we've settled on the name we want to use, but I don't think we'll be completely settled until we see her face and say her name.

Here's our Baby Girl front on. Her head is on the right side with her little hand and arm up by the left side of her face. She has a little pointy chin and then her torso underneath.
Here's a great picture of her from the side. Her head is on the right side with her face pointing down. Then her little spine and rib cage to the left with her little legs curled up underneath her.

Wow! The pics of her are great. It makes it all so real. I can hardly wait. I'm so happy for you and Kyle. We are praying for ya'll and the baby. We love ya'll.
